Individual Reflections

Aye, aye! How's it going? It's been a while. I hope you're all doing good. Ever wonder where have I been these days? No? Oh well, let's just say I was in the middle of war.. with my laziness, so I could get a good grade. Hopefully. Oh well, I tried. Best of luck for me. I hope I'm good enough. This is probably my last blog report. Ey, don't go all teary and crying just yet! Doesn't mean I'll go commit un-alive after this, dang. Well, for this class, if I pass it. For this last one, I'm actually going to tell you about my "journey" in learning.. stuff, like reading and listening as usual, like in my earlier posts. But this time, maybe I'll just go for some rants, or just blabbering all of my thoughts about stuffs in class, or maybe just straight up my progress in listening and reading, as I am supposed to. Oh well, this is my journey to become a better learner.

lmao crying penguin

Where to start, hmm..

Well, let's just start at the very beginning of the semester, where I was still.. quite clueless, in my opinion. The idea of growing a listening and reading habit for this semester is unexpected for me. Not gonna lie, I thought ICC class will give me tons of assignments, or maybe, just straight up heavy materials. Don't blame me, Integrated Communicative Course sounds highly advanced to me LOL. And surprise, surprise, it was actually amazing. Finally, a class with no unnecessary headache. I just need to grow this habit, and also writing some posts for my blog. Well, it was fun to read some stuffs, especially whenever I see my level getting higher and higher the more I read articles, and I always get more new knowledges afterwards. Same as listening, but not as fun as reading. I'm not a fan for those stuffs from ER-Central. I'm more into visuals and stuffs like from Youtube or something. Oh well. Lazy me, as usual.

And then here we are, right at the end of semester. I actually struggled to stay with the habit. But I managed to at least read and listen to more than 90 materials in total. To be honest, I could've done better, but oh well. There's no excuse rather than my poor time management. Stuffs happen, and I'm not that good to handle them, unfortunately.

It's still fun, but I'm also still not a fan of the listening materials LOL. Oh well. Here's my progress, I guess.

Should I say I'm proud? IDK. Judges?

And, what will I do after this course ends? Well, I don't know. I'm thinking of staying with the habit of reading graded stuffs. Maybe on my free time. What about the listening? I'm not sure. Maybe once or twice, thrice a week? I'm not a fan, but I will still visit the web for sure. English is my passion and I want to at least try to challenge myself and see how much I can endure--my limit. Well, at least I know my cluelessness is limitless.

Well, that's it, I guess. My last post, filled with some depressed contents here and there (just kidding LOL). Well, it's a fun semester, overall. I met some new good friends, and probably some of them are memeable LOL. Isn't it funny when meme unites us all? Oh well, the miracle of internet, I guess. But, will I leave this blog after this? I don't know. Maybe. Or maybe I'll just make another one, for my own personal stuff. I love writing, and reading is also fun. Much more if it's in English. I don't know, I just feel it's kind of playful, and easier, to explain stuffs in English rather than Bahasa. You should also try it. You can improve your English in many ways, trust me. Oh well, anyway, it's time to say good bye. But I can assure you, I'll still live on.

And for a little encouragement, and a "dramatic ending", for anyone who sees this, I'll tell you, what if I told you learning English could be fun?

Because it is fun.
